For Warm Cabbage Salad with Roasted Bacon, wash the cabbage and remove the outer leaves, as well as the large leaf stems.
Cut into 2 cm wide strips. Slice the garlic, cut the bacon from the rind and dice finely.
In a large pot, boil plenty of salted water with caraway seeds, add 4 tablespoons of wine vinegar, add cabbage and cook until tender.
Drain in a colander, season with salt and pepper. Arrange in a bowl and keep warm. In a frying pan, fry bacon until golden, add garlic, fry very briefly and pour the mixture over the salad.
Heat 4 tablespoons of wine vinegar in a pan, pour over the salad and mix in lightly.
