Instructions:

For the Toffi Bear from the Toffifees give out the nuts and grind, melt the rest in a water bath. Cream the soft butter with the granulated sugar and vanilla sugar.

Separate the eggs and stir the yolks one by one into the butter mixture. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until very stiff. Then stir the melted toffifees into the butter mixture and carefully add the flour mixed with baking powder, cinnamon and the grated toffifees.

Finally, carefully fold the beaten egg whites into the mixture and pour the batter into 2 greased springform pans, one with a diameter of 14.5 cm and the other with a diameter of 18 cm.

Bake in the oven at 180 degrees. After cooling, cut the cakes in half and spread well with apricot jam, then reassemble.

Whip a cup of whipped cream with the cream stiffener and 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar until stiff. Place the 2 pieces of cake together and cut out a small rounding in the case of the larger cake, so that the smaller cake can be placed there more easily.

Cover the whole cake with whipped cream and sprinkle chocolate flakes on the bottom half and on the hands marked with sugar writing.

Then place two Toffifees each as eyes, hands and feet on the cakes and paint a mouth with the brown sugar writing. Place one large red Smartie as a nose, take two small red Smarties for the cheeks and paint two small blue Smarties with sugar lettering on the top.
