Cut the pitted and, if desired, peeled (or unpeeled) peaches and pears into wedges and marinate immediately with lemon juice. Add a splash of soy sauce and balsamic vinegar. Cut basil into fine strips and mix in with the chopped chili pepper. Season with freshly ground sea salt and pepper and finally mix in some olive oil. Garnish with whole basil leaves.
