A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Beat egg whites and salt with mixer until stiff. Beat in half of the sugar, continue beating until the mixture is glossy. set aside a quarter of the meringue mixture. Add the remaining sugar, vanilla sugar and coconut oil to the snow-sugar mixture. Form small balls (o 3 cm) with your hands, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the surface of the balls with the meringue mixture set aside, bake.

Dust the snowballs with powdered sugar after they have cooled.

But they keep in a tin well closed, cooled and dry also 2 weeks.
