Pasta dishes are always a good idea!

Peel the onions and cut them into not too small pieces. Rinse the peppers, remove the seeds and cut them into eighths. Rinse the zucchini and cut into slices. Clean the mushrooms and cut them into slices as well.

In a large saucepan, put enough water, season with salt and make the pasta al dente according to the package instructions. Fry the minced meat with onions in oil and then add the juice from the tomato can. In a second frying pan, saute the bell pepper pieces in oil. In a third frying pan, saute the zucchini slices with oil and garlic pressed through. Season the mushrooms lightly with salt and season with pepper, mix raw with a little oil.

Put the pasta into the gratin dish (or tray), mix it with the minced meat sauce and garnish everything together with the prepared vegetables (zucchini, peppers, the canned tomatoes and the mushrooms). Pour the chili sauce on top, if desired. Put them in the oven heated to 200 °C and bake for about 5 minutes. Then sprinkle with coarsely grated cheese and bake for another 30 to 40 minutes.

Tip for vegetarians: omit minced meat and use more mushrooms.
