Instructions:

For the nut slices, mix soft butter with honey and then beat in the egg. Combine flour and nuts and mix with vanilla extract.

Knead into a smooth dough. Roll out dough on flour and cut out discs with a round cookie cutter.

Or form a roll with plastic wrap, refrigerate for about an hour, and then cut slices of equal thickness.

Place the nut slices on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake at about 180 degrees top/bottom heat for about 10 min.
