Pasteis de nata are small puff pastry particles with a high-calorie custard cream. They are also sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon to taste.

Make puff pastry from these ingredients: make a dough from flour, salt as well as the water, rest, divide the butter into three parts, roll out the dough, spread the butter on it, beat it together again roll it out and so on….

It’s probably easier to use Tk puff pastry! The puff pastry is then rolled out very thin, cut into strips, rolled up into snails and then pressed into round pie shapes roughly like muffin tins.

For the crem, put all the ingredients in a saucepan and stir through. Bring to the boil and when the cream has cooled down a little, mold it into the shapes.
