For the pasta bake, cook the pasta al dente according to the instructions. Finely chop the onion, carrots and garlic, and cut the ham and peppers and mushrooms into bite-sized pieces.
Saute the onions in oil, stir in the garlic and carrots. Gradually fold in the ham and vegetables and saute until everything is soft but still crisp.
Mix the eggs with the sour cream and season with salt and pepper and stir in some of the cheese. Mix the cooked pasta with the vegetables and fold in the egg cream. Pour everything into a baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake the pasta casserole for about 20 minutes at 180 °C in the oven.
