For the meatballs with ajvar, first peel and finely chop the onion and garlic cloves. Wash the bell bell pepper, remove the seeds and also chop finely. Lightly roast the pine nuts in a pan without fat.
Knead all the ingredients for the meatballs well together. Then let rest for about 30 minutes.
Form small balls from the mixture. Lightly flour them, roll them in breadcrumbs if necessary and fry them in hot oil. Serve the meatballs with ajvar.
