Marzipan Flowers

For the marzipan flowers, briefly heat the marzipan paste in the microwave so that it is soft.

Mix the marzipan well with the powdered sugar and knead into a uniform mass.

Set aside 1/6 of the mass. Work the red food coloring into the rest until it is the desired flower color.

Form 40 small balls from the uncolored mixture and 200 from the colored mixture.

Place 5 colored balls around each uncolored ball and press them together lightly so that the marzipan flowers do not fall apart.
