Instructions:

Soak the chickpeas in water for one night. Now with the soaking water gently bubble for about 60 min with the lid closed. Drain and keep the cooking liquid.

Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the drained peas with the spices to the frying pan, stirring constantly for two to three minutes. Add the indicated amount of cooking water and cook gently for about 15 to 20 minutes. Stir from time to time.

Before serving, add the lime juice and sprinkle with the chopped cilantro leaves and diced chili peppers.
