Preheat oven to 225 °C (convection oven: 190 °C).
Heat oil in a saucepan and sauté onion until translucent. Add spinach and water, meanwhile steam until spinach is thawed. Season to taste with the spices.
Mash potatoes and mix well with egg, cream cheese, cheese (I) and herbs.
Place 1/4 of the potato mixture on each ham slice and roll up.
Place spinach in a greased shallow dish, sprinkle diced tomatoes and place ham rolls on top, seam side down. Cover the rolls with cheese (Ii).
Bake in the oven at 225 °C for about 15 min. Bring to the table in the dish.
Our tip: It is best to use fresh herbs for a particularly good aroma!
