For the fruit dumplings, knead all the ingredients together in a bowl to form a dough. Let it rest in the refrigerator for half an hour.
Meanwhile, remove the seeds from the fruit. To do this, cut out a wedge-shaped piece, then remove the pit and instead place a teaspoon of sugar in the center of the fruit. The wedge can then be placed back on top.
Wrap the fruit with the dough and boil in lightly salted water for about 15 minutes.
Put some butter in a pan and let it melt. Then add the crumbs and toast them carefully on low heat. Finally, mix the crumbs with some granulated sugar.
Serve the fruit dumplings with breadcrumbs.
