Put sugar, bran flakes, figs, syrup and low-fat milk in a large enough bowl. Mix well and stand for half an hour. Now sift in the flour and mix well. Put the mixture into a greased loaf pan (500 g) and bake for 45 to 60 minutes at 180 degrees in a heated oven. Turn out the bread from the mold, bring to the table in slices and spread with low-fat spread of your choice.
