Instructions:

For cod in beer batter, first mix all ingredients together well for the batter.

Dab the cod fillets dry, season with sea salt and roll in cornmeal.

Then pull through the batter and deep-fry in hot fat at 170-180 °C until crispy and golden.

Lift out of the fat, drain between two sheets of kitchen roll if necessary and serve cod in beer batter.
