For the chocolate snowballs, melt the chocolate with the butter in a water bath and then let cool slightly.
Sift the flour, cocoa, baking powder, cinnamon and salt into a bowl. While stirring, add first the sugar, then the whole egg and the egg yolk to the chocolate butter. On low speed, mix in the flour-cocoa-cinnamon mixture. Place the chocolate batter in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
Then, using a teaspoon, take out some of the mixture in portions and form into balls.
Roll the chocolate balls in powdered sugar and place them about 3 cm apart on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the chocolate snowballs at 170 °C convection oven for approx. 12 minutes.
