For the chocolate nut amarena mini-egg cake, separate the egg, whip the egg whites with granulated sugar. Chop the amarena cherries into small pieces.

Beat yolks, butter, salt, vanilla sugar and powdered sugar until creamy, add lemon zest, nuts, cherries and softened chocolate. Fold in the flour and beaten egg whites alternately.

Grease and flour small cake pans, pour in the mixture and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 30 minutes.

Allow to cool slightly and remove from the molds.
