A cake recipe for all foodies:
A wonderful apple speciality from the Black Forest. It is important that the dough can rest at least 2 hours before you finish baking the pancakes. You will definitely need a coated frying pan for this.
Cook a thin pancake batter from flour, milk, eggs and salt. Let it rest for at least 2 hours.
In the meantime, make a vanilla sauce with the milk and the sauce powder according to the instructions on the package and keep it warm. Preheat the oven to 80 °C
Peel the apples, remove the core, cut into quarters and slice thinly. Heat a small coated frying pan. Melt 5 g butter and fry a quarter of the apple slices briefly in it. Now pour a quarter of the batter over it and bake the pancake until golden brown.
When turning the pancake, add another 5 g of butter.
Sprinkle sugar over both sides of the finished pancake in the frying pan and continue baking until the sugar caramelizes slightly.
Keep warm in the oven and bake 3 more pancakes as described.
Serve with vanilla sauce.
This dessert can also be cooked in a large frying pan and then cut into quarters. This eliminates the need to keep warm.
The sour apple taste can be rounded off sweetly by adding raisins and cinnamon.
