Instructions:

Mix well two liters of salted water with a piece of butter, lemon juice and flour and bring to a boil.

Clean the asparagus, tie it and put it into the boiling salted water. Cook until tender, about 20 minutes.

Let cool in the broth, remove and drain.

Cut ham into fine strips.

Grease an ovenproof dish with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

Place asparagus in layers, spread ham strips on top, sprinkle with Parmesan, drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with parsley.

Bake in preheated oven at 200 °C convection oven for about 10 minutes until nice color. (Asparagus should not take too much color, otherwise it becomes slightly bitter).

Arrange and serve.
