For the apple chicken, season the split chicken with salt and pepper. Cut apples into cubes. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces until hot.
Add the roughly chopped onion and fry briefly. Extinguish with water and add the sliced apples. Let it simmer for about 90 minutes.
At the end of the cooking time, remove the chicken parts and puree the juice. Mix cream and flour with a little water until it gets a creamy consistency.
Stir in some of the juice and then mix with the rest and bring to the boil briefly. Season the juice with salt and pepper and add the chicken parts again.
