Instructions:

For the bagels, let the yeast stand with lukewarm water for a few minutes until completely dissolved. Mix flour and salt dry.

Add honey, oil and yeast water and knead everything into a smooth dough. Cover and let rise for about 1 hour until the dough has doubled in volume.

Knead the dough again and divide into 8 dough pieces. Make a hole with a wooden spoon and let rise in honey water (approx. 2 tablespoons, 80 °C, not boiling) for approx. 30 seconds, turning once.

Bake in the preheated oven at 200 °C for approx. 15 minutes.
