First, line a baking tray with baking paper. Preheat the oven to 190 °C.
Roll out the puff pastry. Cut out 2 squares of the same size. Cut out 2 circles with a diameter of approx. 2 cm from the remaining edge.
Cut the squares at the corners towards the center. There should still be enough space between the cuts for the filling.
Place 1 heaping teaspoon of jam in the center. Pull every other tip onto the jam from the outside in so that a pinwheel stands in. Press down lightly, brush with a little water and glue a circle of dough on top. Brush this with water as well.
Place on the baking sheet and bake until the puff pastry pinwheels are crisp and golden (about 10-15 minutes).
Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.
