For the catfish in paprika sauce, cut the catfish into bite-sized strips or cubes. Place in a bowl, salt, pepper and dust with flour.

In a pan, melt vegetable oil and butter. Add bacon cubes and fry slowly.

Then add fish cubes and also fry briefly all around. Sprinkle paprika powder on top, stir in tomato paste and quickly pour in a small shot of vinegar.

Pour in the soup and let it boil down vigorously. Now stir in the corn kernels, add crème fine and boil down the sauce until creamy. Season again to taste.

Serve the catfish with tarhonya.
