Instructions:

For the teddy bear cupcakes, first line a muffin tray with paper cups. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

Add baking soda, baking powder, flour and cinnamon. Add almonds. In a second bowl, mix egg, oil, sugar and yogurt. Add the flour mixture and fold in briefly.

Pour batter into the wells of the muffin pan no more than 3/4 full. Bake the muffins for 25 to 30 minutes and then let cool completely.

In the meantime, prepare the decoration. Use white marzipan or Massa Ticino for the circle or color the marzipan white. Roll out thinly and cut out circles the size of the muffins. When the dough is completely cooled, place the circles on the muffins. If you like, you can also spread a thin layer of marzipan underneath.

Color most of the marzipan brown. Form 2 large, 5 medium and 2 small balls for each bear. Shape the head and body from the large balls. Shape the feet, arms and snout from the medium balls and the ears from the small balls. Assemble the individual parts. This works best with modeling tools. Color some marzipan black and use it to form eyes and snout and fix them to the bear. Assemble the flower from blue or white marzipan.

Place the marzipan figures on the icing and serve the teddy bear cupcakes immediately or store in a cool place.
