A great cake recipe for any occasion:
Cream butter until thick, add egg yolks and sugar and beat, fold in the almond kernels, grated raisins, flour, lemon and finally the stiff snow. Pour into a greased, floured ring mold and bake at 180 degrees for about 1 hour, remove from the mold, cool on a cooling rack, drizzle with rum, cover with lemon glaze and sprinkle with toasted almond kernels.
