Instructions:

For the sugar pretzels, crumble flour with butter and mix with the other ingredients to make a shortcrust pastry.

Let the dough rest for 1/2 hour. Roll out dough, cut out pretzels and brush with beaten egg.

Sprinkle with granulated sugar and bake the sugar pretzels at 180 degrees for about 12 minutes.
