A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Peel cold earth apple, grate finely. Knead together with sugar, egg, butter, baking powder, salt, flour, vanilla pulp, lemon zest. Wrap dough in plastic wrap, chill about 30 min.

Roll out dough on floured surface to 3 mm thickness, cut out circles (diameter 6 cm).

Preheat stove to 180 °C. Put a dab of Powidl on each of the dough circles. Fold up on 3 sides, shape into a tricorn, press together a little.

Mix egg yolk and milk, brush cookies with it. Place on 2 baking sheets lined with parchment paper, sprinkle with hail sugar. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes each. Remove, cool on a cooling rack.

Preparation approx. 50 min. – cooling approx. 30 min. – baking approx. 30 min.
