For the shrimp white wine sauce on basmati rice, first cook the basmati rice and in the meantime peel and press the garlic cloves and sauté them in a pan in the oil.

Then add the peeled king prawns and fry them without lid on high heat. I always use frozen king prawns, the open lid allows the excess water to evaporate.

When the shrimp are cooked, add the white wine and simmer. Stir the cornflour into the Rama Creme fine or the whipped cream with a fork and add to the pan.

Bring the sauce to a boil and season with salt and pepper. Chop the basil leaves and mix into the shrimp-white wine sauce just before serving. Serve the finished basmati rice with the shrimp-white wine sauce.
