Stir the butter until creamy. Mix well with egg, a little salt, semolina and grated nutmeg.

Bring the soup to a boil.

Using a teaspoon, cut out gnocchi and place in the simmering soup.

Simmer the semolina gnocchi in the soup on low heat for about 20 minutes, remove from heat and let them simmer for another 10 minutes.

Arrange the dumplings in the soup and serve.
