For the orange glaze:


For the orange cake, pour the juice of one orange on the grated almonds, stir in the powdered sugar and yolks and carefully fold in the stiffly beaten snow of 3 egg whites.

Pour this batter into a well-buttered and floured cake pan and bake it in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for about 50 minutes.

For the orange glaze, bring the powdered sugar to the boil with water, powdered sugar and orange liqueur, mix with the strained orange marmalade and reduce by a third. Apply the glaze hot.

Chill the orange cake before serving.
