For the baby shower cookies, first preheat the oven to 180 °C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Knead all ingredients for the dough. Dust the work surface with flour and roll out the dough thinly (approx. 3-5 mm). Cut out the desired motifs. Place the cookies on the baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes. They should in no case become too dark and hard. Take them out and let them cool completely.

In the meantime, prepare the glaze. Mix egg whites with sifted confectioners’ sugar until well blended and you have a smooth, viscous mixture. Divide the mixture and color it differently as desired.

Decorate the baby shower cookies with the icing using a piping bag or a baking paper tip.
