For the almond slices, whip the cream until semi-stiff, add the sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs.
Fold in the flour sifted with the baking powder and pour into a greased, floured baking pan measuring approx. 24 x 30 centimeters.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 15 minutes.
For the topping, mix butter, milk and sugar , spread on the baked dough , sprinkle with flaked almonds and finish baking for another 15 minutes.
Serve the almond slices.
