For grilled spikefish, rinse the fish properly. Dab the spikefish dry and dust heavily with flour. This is best done with a sieve. Put the fish in the sieve, sprinkle the flour over them and then simply sift off the excess flour. Season with salt and pepper.

Place the fish in an aluminum bowl and grill for a few minutes until golden brown.
