For the pumpkin puree, heat the lard in a pot. Saute the onion until translucent, add sugar, let it caramelize a bit and add sliced carrots. Let it steam for 5 minutes.
Now add the pumpkin, salt, pepper and coriander and let it steam for about 20 minutes. Stir vigorously so that the pumpkin breaks down.
Add milk until it has the right firmness. Refine with a little chili.
