For the beer punch, drain sour cherries, mix cherry juice and sugar and lemon zest, bring to a boil and let cool.

Mix the cherries with grain brandy kirsch and lemon juice and 1/2l light beer, chill for 1 hour and top up with 2l beer. Serve the beer punch iced.
