For the Hearty Pasta Salad, cook the pasta in hot salted water until al dente. Drain the spaghetti, let cool and drain. Stir in a little oil to keep them from sticking together.

Cut ham and pickled gherkins into small strips, remove stems from tomatoes, wash and cut into eighths. Drain the pineapple (save the juice) and cut into bite-sized pieces.

Defrost the peas and mix the prepared ingredients in a bowl. Mix yogurt, mayonnaise and pineapple juice until smooth and season with curry, salt and garlic pepper.

Fold the sauce into the hearty pasta salad and serve sprinkled with chopped parsley.
