Mix the flour with baking powder and salt. Add the fried onions and diced ham and mix well. Add water and knead well by hand until a smooth dough is formed. Let the dough rest for 20 minutes.

Knead well again and divide into 16 portions. Form them into flat oval rolls.

Heat plenty of oil over medium heat and fry the dough balls until golden brown.

Serve the rolls still warm or cold.
