Instructions:

Boil the water with the salt, pour in the long-grain rice, turn the heat down to very low and let the long-grain rice swell in the covered saucepan.

Chop the peeled celery raw or cooked very small. Cut the cucumber into cubes, the radishes into slices, the tomatoes into slices.

Mix the grated cheddar cheese with the sour cream, the chopped chives and season with pepper, salt and the juice of a lemon.

Mix the cooked long grain rice, which has cooled down in the meantime, with all the ingredients and leave to soak for a while.

Bring to the table in glasses or possibly bowls, garnish with fresh dill and tomato slices.

Our tip: Fresh chives are much more aromatic than dried ones!
