For the Schlusche cake, preheat the oven to 150 °C top and bottom heat. Carefully melt the chocolate in a bain-marie. Allow butter to soften.
Beat eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar and softened butter until fluffy. Add the melted chocolate. Mix the grated almonds with a little salt and the baking powder and mix with the other ingredients.
Pour the mixture into the greased, rolled out pan and bake in the preheated oven for 2 hours. Turn out after baking.
In the original, the Schlusche cake is spread with jam and covered with chocolate icing. However, due to lack of time, I have already covered them with punch icing, which also tasted very good.
