Take the shortcrust pastry case exactly from the package. Make the vanilla pudding according to the recipe using half a liter of milk, sugar and vanilla pudding powder. Melt the gelatine sheet in the vanilla pudding. Pour it on the bottom of the cake and let the custard cool down a little bit.

Next, place the gummy bears on top of the custard. This should still be warm enough that they sink into it, but not sink. It is especially easy to arrange the gummy bears in concentric circles.

Cool everything together.

Prepare the cake glaze according to the instructions. Replace the water (or just as much only a part) with the fruit juice (multivitamin juice turned out to be too opaque during the trial run). Season with a dash of the vanilla syrup (e.g. Monin brand).

Pour the cake glaze over the gummy bears and cool.

Serve with vanilla sauce and Jell-O as add-ons, and whimsically point out to guests the origin of the gelatin (=England).
