Place the first five ingredients in the dough container of the breadmaker in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select the dough program for white bread and press Start.

Remove the finished dough from the container, knead it briefly and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Then roll out on the lightly floured surface into a round dough patty about 1 cm thick. Place on the baking sheet. Sprinkle garlic, rosemary and coarse salt and press lightly into the dough. Press shallow indentations into the bread with your fingertips. Drizzle remaining olive oil over top, allowing it to pool in the indentations. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

Bake the bread for 20 min until lightly browned.

Serve this hearty Italian flatbread as an entrée or instead of garlic bread with a main dish, and offer best quality olive oil for dipping. The bread tastes best warm.
