Instructions:

First, peel the onion, cut into small pieces. Finely slice the cabbage.

Sauté the finely chopped onion in hot butter in a pan, add the cabbage, salt, pepper, mix in some caraway seeds and steam everything well.

Then let it cool down.

Place the puff pastry on top, spread the cabbage on top, spread the ham in the middle. Roll up the strudel and brush with beaten egg.

Bake at 220 °C for about 30 minutes.
